Love the Samurai bottle! I wonder how it looks after a few shots?
Two eggs over easy and a shot of bacon vodka please. Ewwww.

    What about polish wódka?! :D
here is the Żubrówka in packaging called \"żubranko\". in polish it\'s a word-play (ubranko means coating). additionally to interesting look it also works as a cooler.

Also Belvedere has interesting packaging http://www.belvederevodka.com

And I think that toast written \"Na zdrovie\" doesn\'t exist in any Slavonic language. In Polish it would be \"Na zdrowie\", in Slovak \"Na zdravie\", in Czech \"Na zdrovi\". It\'s a myth that some version of \"Na zdrowie\" is a Russian toast.

I’ve seen this many times something a little ordinary is re-packaged and suddenly it becomes a must have item. It could be water, vodka almost anything.
This well written and researched article really gave just enough insight into history of vodka and the effort to differentiate what is nearly identical from brand to brand.
Ialso really liked the images of bottle prototypes.

Really interesting and digestible (or should I say potable?) piece. It provides a pointed lesson in branding.Next, the manufacturers will start bottling theconcoctions that rely on vodka. What would an inventive bottled version of a vodka martini or tonic look like, I wonder....

Wonderful stuff!I, too, adore the samurai bottle, as well as the Polish jackets shared in Marcin\'s comment. The 1,000 Acres floating cork is likewise lovely.

    Thanks!

A lot of companies try to please everyone all of the time and I think that\'s a very difficult thing to do. Also, just because people demand tons of choices, it doesn\'t mean they have to have tons of choices.

I\'d rather a company do a few products very well than try to sell me bacon booze.

The Samurai bottle looks kirei (beautiful), but shouldn\'t the top half of the bottle be sliding down not up?

Just an FYI the \"Bakon\" in Devotion may be vegan but the vodka overall is anything but a vegan jackpot. Casein is a milk derived protein.
