    It\'s great to see some Canadian content that can stimulate our public and hopefully, our economy.

    Eating local is a big Canadian theme right now. I see it in every commercial.

    I\'m very glad the marketing geniuses are using their expertise to promote positive messages!

    that\'s all well and all but most of our country is under snow for half the year. We have at most a 3 month growing season, how can we sustain the entire population without imports?

    Niko, we eat nothing but potatoes!

    But I agree, Safe Way and Save on Foods have a lot of Canadian products. Or things made in Canada. I understand the imports but would like to see the numbers.

    The other side to the story is cost. its cheaper. other wise the struggling farm family while not making any money farming will have to pay much more for vegetables since labor costs rise.

    Grow a garden.
