I like it. This is definitely less insane compared to their other brand identity attempts.Defiantly a smarter cleaner mover for them.
Boring as hell. When MTV stops trying to be cool, they may actually become cool.
I like the cleaner direction this is taking. It is nice, modern, and minimal. Many of their stuff in the past has been \'overdone\' - but this strips it down.
However, no amount of good design will make any of the crappy shows better.
I too like the clean design. It\'s all about solid colors, negative space and geometric shapes these days, and I\'m totally ok with that. I can definitely see how television is emulating the GUI classics of the interweb.
That 3rd identity animation - bored me to tears!
Mister Furry would be the best - surprised you didn\'t put that one on here instead of Windkiss.
I just switched channels to see this new look and it looks pretty nice on screen (MTV Latina America).
Boring. Uninspired. I agree with Guest Critique.
The MTV Logo still looks like a piece of crappy Scotch brand tape stuck to the screen. It\'s dated, and if they want to treat it as \"Sacred\" it\'s their funeral. Nothing\'s sacred in great design. \"Meet the new MTVboss same as the old MTVboss.\"
I like how the tv program guide appears \'now\' - \'next\' and \'later\' appear, its nice and simple and has a cool feel to it, but i agree that sometimes they try to hard, and they do try hard, it just shows thro to much
here in Brazil, MTV still has its own look, as well as a modified version of the MTV logo (no \"Music Television\" since 2007), still with multiple colors.

or MTV International should just follow MTV USA and use the cut-off logo (still comes in many colors and is also \"Music Television\"-free)
mtv actually has a newer logo now, launched a couple months ago.
